Wang Guan is a co-founder of Beijing Haolue Law Firm, a mediator of the Commercial Mediation Committee of the China Association of Small and Medium Enterprises, and a mediator of the Haidian District People’s Court, Beijing. He holds the Securities Practitioner Qualification Certificate.
With over 22 years of experience in the legal field — including 14 years in procuratorial and discipline inspection organs, 2 years as corporate in-house legal counsel, and more than 6 years as a practicing lawyer — Mr. Wang is dedicated to providing practical and effective legal solutions.
Mr. Wang specializes in criminal defense, with extensive experience in major criminal cases involving economic crimes, duty-related crimes, and organized crime. He also practices at the forefront of digital economy and artificial intelligence law, advising on data compliance, fintech regulation, and algorithm governance. He leads a team assisting Chinese enterprises with cross-border legal services for expansion into Southeast Asia.
Guided by the principle of “advancing the rule of law through professionalism,” Mr. Wang and his team of lawyers — many with a decade or more of frontline experience in public security, procuratorial, and court work — strive for effective representation in every case.
Mr. Wang practiced at Beijing Jingshi Law Firm from 2019 to 2026 and maintains close cooperation with senior partners of the Jingshi (National) Criminal Committee. Team lawyers and cooperating counsel have secured landmark results, including the acquittal of entrepreneur Lan Shili on contract fraud charges (2020) and the retrial acquittal of Lin Huirong (December 2025, Zhangzhou, Fujian). Wang Dianxue, equity partner of Beijing Jingshi Law Firm and chair of its (National) Criminal Committee, has represented clients in the Nie Shubin state compensation case (RMB 2.68 million awarded, including a then-record RMB 1.3 million in moral damages), the Wang Lijun case, and the Zhang Zhichao case — matters cited seven times in the work reports of the Supreme People’s Court and the Supreme People’s Procuratorate.
